Episode 10 - Mind the Baby, Mr Bean was filmed at Clarence Pier Funfair.

Episode 8 - Room 426 - Here, Mr Bean stays at the Queens Hotel in Southsea.

The musical by the Who was filmed in many locations in and around Portsmouth, including: Hilsea Lido, which featured as Bernie's Holiday Camp's swimming pool.

The Kings Theatre for Elton John's part singing 'The Pinball Wizard'.

St Andrew's Church in Eastney, which was the 'Church of Marilyn'

The South Parade Pier, which was Bernie's Holiday Camp's ballroom, caught fire during filming.

Portsdown Hill (Fort Purbrook), which was Tommy's Camp.

The current Park and Ride was the site of a scrap yard for military waste, which was used to film the fire scenes with discarded military items painted silver to resemble giant pinballs.

The Pinball Wizard scene from Tommy was filmed at The Kings Theatre in Southsea.

Here is the giant pinball section film at Portsdown Hill behind Portsmouth. There is also, for a split second, footage of the South Parade Pier on fire, as it caught fire during the filming there in 1974.

Portsmouth Historic Dockyard has featured in many productions.

Historic HMS Warrior was the backdrop for the film 'Oscar and Lucinda' (1997), while Lord Nelson’s flagship HMS Victory and the Mary Rose Museum have featured in several historical TV documentaries. Recently, Portsmouth Historic Dockyard appeared in the Hollywood epic 'Les Misérables' (2012), starring Hugh Jackman. Nearby, the James Bond film 'Tomorrow Never Dies' (1997) showed shots from on board HMS Westminster at Portsmouth Naval Base.
